Abstract

This paper outlines the principal results of a major research project into saturation flows at signalised intersections in Melbourne. The results of this research were used to recalibrate the saturation flow models use by SIDRA. Also see the paper on the effect of heavy vehicles on the rate of saturation flow by CUDDON and OGDEN (1992) on this page.
