Abstract

This article describes a green split computation method that allows for priority specification for selected movements. The method described in this paper allows for (1) unequal practical degrees of saturation; (2) minimum and maximum green times; and (3) green split priority for selected movements, which is particularly relevant to arterial signal coordination, arterial call or semi-actuated signal control methods.
