About the Licence
The type of licence used for SIDRA TRIP version 1.0 under the SOLO eCommerce system is the LIMITED Licence. This corresponds to the Large Office licence used before the introduction of the eCommerce system (this term will appear in Help-About and output). LIMITED Licence applies to one or more licences.
Other licence types that apply to the SIDRA INTERSECTION software under the SOLO eCommerce system, or the Small and Medium Office Licences used earlier, are not applicable SIDRA TRIP version 1.0 under the SOLO eCommerce system. All licence types used earlier will be converted to LIMITED Licence.
The software must be registered using your Customer ID (User ID) and a Serial Number which is supplied by Akcelik & Associates. One Serial Number is issued which applies to the number of computers that is specified in your licence agreement documents. The software must not be installed on more than the licensed number of computers.
Registration
Customer ID (User ID) and Serial Number
To register the software, you will require a Customer ID (User ID) and a Serial Number. Keep this information safely for future use.
Customer ID (User ID) is a seven-digit ID issued by Akcelik & Associates to each organisation using SIDRA SOLUTIONS software under the SOLO eCommerce system. This replaces the five-character ID used previously.
The Customer ID (User ID) is issued once to new users and applies to all current and future SIDRA SOLUTIONS software products. It must be used for software registration and should be quoted in all correspondence.
Serial Number: The "Large Office" Serial Number used previously is issued for LIMITED Licence under the SOLO eCommerce system. Take care to distinguish letters and numbers, e.g. O and 0. The letter O is not used in SIDRA TRIP Serial Numbers.
The Customer ID (User ID) and Serial Number are issued once only to the person who purchases the licence.
You can see your Customer ID (User ID) by inspecting Help - About, and your Customer ID (User ID) will also be shown in all output files and the Input Report produced by the software.
The person who purchases the software should keep:
- the software (and related material) and the Customer ID (User ID) and Serial Number for installation and registration of software on end user computers within the licensed organisation, and
- the licence agreement letter as a legal document stating the specific conditions of licence agreement.
The person who purchases the software should also arrange for management of COVER renewal, and keep the address and other organisational details up to date in the eCommerce system.
All registration details are confidential, and must not be given to any third party.
Registration Process
The first time that you use the software after installation, the Trial Dialog will appear. Click the Register button to open the Registration Dialog. You must enter all the requested information in this dialog and then click Register.
If you do not have all the required information to complete the entries in this dialog, click the Try button to return to the Trial Dialog.
After the registration information has been accepted by the program, the software will open for you to begin using it.
