Version 3.2.2 Details
The changes introduced in SIDRA INTERSECTION Version 3.2.2 that will take effect after successful application of Version 3.2 Update Pack 2 are described below.
- A "Collapse All Sites" feature has been added. All nodes for all sites can be collapsed by right-clicking on the Project node and selecting Collapse All Sites from the pop-up menu.
- Handling of special symbols and non-"Basic Latin" characters in character strings (such as Title, Subtitle, Approach Names, Movement IDs, Phase Names and Cost Unit) has been improved significantly. Most symbols and special characters can now be entered in input dialogs for these items and will be shown in output. Some limitations apply to the use of these characters in Phase Names.
- Editing of the Currency symbol is now allowed so that you are not restricted to the Windows default symbol for your region.
- The ability to specify printer options before printing the Layout Picture has been added. Previously the picture was sent directly to the printer without the option to change printer settings.
- The Heavy Vehicle Data Option dropdown in the Model General tab in Tools-Model Defaults has now been blocked to prevent user changes to "system" models.
- Installation of Version 3.2.2 has been prohibited on 64-bit computers as it has been established that some components of the program will not work on these computer systems.
- Incorrect default setting of Practical Degree of Saturation for Continuous movements has been fixed.
- Some incorrect default settings for Turn on Red have been fixed and the program has been modified such that any effect of these settings in existing project files will be ignored in program calculations.
- A bug that caused Lane Types other than "Normal" to be sometimes reset when the Approaches & Lanes dialog was opened has been fixed.
- An error check has been added to the Phasing dialog to restrict the number of phases that can be specified in a sequence to nine. Previously this restriction did not exist and specifying more than nine phases led to a program error.
- A problem with the calculation of opposing flow rates when a movement was opposed by a single LTR lane has been fixed.
- A bug that caused negotiation speed to be incorrectly reset to zero in some cases when negotiation speed exceeded approach cruise speed has been fixed.
- An error which caused zero geometric delay to be incorrectly reported in Table D.4 in some defacto exclusive lane cases has been fixed.
- Minor improvements have been made to some messages in output.
- Minor improvements have been made to Help system.
