aaSIDRA 2.1 Update 2.1.3 to 2.1.4
(Limited application)
The following information is for the users of OLDER version aaSIDRA 2.1 only. Since technical support is provided for the latest version only, upgrade to SIDRA INTERSECTION 3 is recommended. Upgrade will not be available and it will be necessary to purchase a new licence when a major version of SIDRA INTERSECTION is released in near future.
Update from aaSIDRA version 2.1.3 to 2.1.4 is a limited update to be applied if you have experienced problems with aaSIDRA Licensing as a result of installing Microsoft's new .NET framework version 2 on your computer. Install this update ONLY if you have the .NET framework version 2 problem.
aaSIDRA 2.1 Update 2.1.3 to 2.1.4 will install aaSIDRA version 2.1.4 if you have aaSIDRA 2.1.3 installed on your computer. If your version is not 2.1.3, you need to apply Update Pack 1 and then Update Pack2 before applying aaSIDRA 2.1 Update 2.1.3 to 2.1.4.

Version 2.1.4 Details
The changes introduced in aaSIDRA 2.1.4 that will take effect after successful application of Update 2.1.3 to 2.1.4 are described below.
aaSIDRA 2.1.4 resolves the following problems found with version aaSIDRA 2.1.3
- Microsoft's .NET framework version 2 has some conflict with aaSIDRA licensing software and hence aaSIDRA reports that truly valid serial numbers are invalid:
(i) A previously registered/activated copy of aaSIDRA 2.1 suddenly reverts back to trial mode for no apparent reason.
(ii) A new installation of aaSIDRA 2.1 reports "Invalid Serial Number" for a valid serial number when trying to register. This will also occur for case 1) if the user subsequently tries to re-register aaSIDRA.
The new .NET framework version 2 may be installed as a result of installing other software. You can determine if the .NET framework version 2 is installed by checking Start - Control Panel - Add Remove Programs (if installed, it will appear in the list as "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0").
- There is no difference between versions 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 in terms of traffic models (no aspect of input or output is affected).
- The OpenGL error message "Exception EOpenGLError in module aaSIDRA.exe at 000B0117. Need at least OpenGL version 1.1." that may be given when aaSIDRA starts is removed by this patch although this problem could be prevented by the turning graphics acceleration down.
