About COVER

COVER is essentially support (maintenance) for your licence. It means free upgrades to major new software versions as well as priority technical support. COVER can be purchased with the latest version of software only (new or upgrade licence). The COVER period is 12 months for INTERSECTION and TRIP and 24 months for INPUT COMPARISON.

COVER is associated with the particular software licence purchased, i.e. it applies per software licence. The COVER prices are per licence.

When purchasing a new or upgrade licence the initial purchase price includes 12-month COVER for INTERSECTION and TRIP or 24 months for INPUT COMPARISON. We recommend that you keep your COVER up to date at all times.

• Renewal Before Expiry applies when renewing an existing COVER before its expiry. Renewing COVER before expiry costs less.
• Renewal After Expiry applies when renewing an existing COVER after its expiry. Renewing COVER after expiry costs more.

The benefits of COVER include:

• Free upgrades to major new versions released during the COVER period: Under our continuous development policy, we will be producing a number of new improved versions of the software. You may choose to pay the upgrade fees when the new versions come out, or you may choose to maintain you COVER for free upgrades. Continued COVER means substantial savings since the COVER fee is much less than the total cost of upgrades.
• A reasonable amount of technical support. This means assistance to make the software operate on your computer system, and investigation of cases that fail to run or produce unexpected results. It does not include assistance in the normal use of the software such as coding of input from an intersection plan. Software training workshops that cover these topics are offered from time to time.
• Discounts for training course registrations and some Service Fees.
• Notification by email regarding new patches that become available from our Website.
• Your continued COVER will ensure that you are always using the latest (most advanced, most up to date) version of the software as a best practice organisation.
